JS Global Capital Limited Reports Minimal Movement in Profits with No Dividends or Bonus Shares

Karachi: In the most recent board meeting held on October 22, 2024, JS Global Capital Limited announced un-audited financial results for the nine months ended September 30, 2024. The company reported a marginal increase in profits despite no distributions of dividends, bonus shares, or rights shares. The details reveal that the operational revenue increased while the financial results showed some fluctuations in unrealized gains and losses on investments.

The Board of Directors convened on the 20th floor of The Center in Saddar, Karachi, where they passed the financial statements showing that the company's operating revenue reached PKR 812.38 million, up from PKR 476.22 million compared to the same period last year. The earnings per share also saw an increase from 3.22 to 8.27.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), JS Global Capital Limited experienced varied results in their financial components. While capital gain on the sale of investments presented a decrease from PKR 43.97 million in the previous year to PKR 20.72 million, there was a noted reversal in the unrealized remeasurement of investments. The company reported a loss of PKR 20.47 million compared to a gain of PKR 2.73 million in the prior year.

Other significant figures included an increase in administrative and operating expenses from PKR 688.89 million to PKR 1.07 billion. Despite higher costs, the company managed a net profit after taxation of PKR 227.22 million, showing a considerable improvement from PKR 88.43 million in the same period last year.

The financial statement highlighted no provisions for a cash dividend, bonus shares, or right shares, maintaining a steady stance on shareholder distributions amidst the financial performance. The quarterly report of the company will be separately transmitted through PUCARS, ensuring stakeholders are updated within the specified timeframe.
