Karachi: JS Investments Limited has officially completed the rebalancing of its JS Momentum Factor Exchange Traded Fund (JSMFETF), a critical step in maintaining the fund’s alignment with its strategic investment goals. The completion was noted in a formal communication to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) dated October 8, 2024.
The rebalancing process, referenced in a prior notice on October 7, is in accordance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Regulations. This adjustment ensures that the fund continues to meet the criteria set out in its offering document, maintaining its compliance and performance objectives.
JS Investments Limited, situated on the 19th floor of The Centre in Karachi, oversees the JSMFETF portfolio's structure. The fund's rebalancing is a routine measure necessary to address market dynamics and maintain the fund’s investment strategy. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the rebalancing involves adjustments to the portfolio’s assets to better align with the fund’s momentum factor approach, which aims to capitalize on market trends by investing in securities that have shown high returns.
The notice of completion was signed by Muhammad Khawar Iqbal, Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary at JS Investments. It was also sent to key stakeholders including Talha Khan Ghauri, Additional Joint Director at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, and Atiq-ur-Rehman, Head of Trustee and Custodial Operations at the Central Depository Company of Pakistan.
