JS Investments Limited Announces Interim Cash Dividend Disbursement for JS Momentum Factor ETF

Karachi: JS Investments Limited has successfully disbursed an interim cash dividend to the unitholders of its JS Momentum Factor ETF (JSMFETF), with the dividend amounting to Rs. 2.50 per share, equivalent to 25% for the year ending June 30, 2025. The dividend was electronically transferred into the designated bank accounts of the unitholders on January 23, 2025, following approval by the Chief Executive Officer, under authority delegated by the Board of Directors, on January 1, 2025.

The announcement was made public through notices published in "The News" and "Daily Jang" newspapers on January 25, 2025, covering the Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad editions. The disbursement marks an important financial event for the unitholders of the JSMFETF, a fund managed by JS Investments Limited, which falls under the designated market category of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the interim cash dividend has been successfully credited to unitholders who submitted valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs), and other necessary registration details.

To further streamline the dividend disbursement process, the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has introduced the Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR), an e-services web portal that maintains records of dividends paid, unpaid, or withheld by listed companies. This portal allows unitholders to access their dividend history and retrieve necessary details for record-keeping purposes.

However, dividends have been withheld for unitholders who failed to provide complete and accurate information, including valid IBANs and correct bank account details. These unitholders are advised to submit a legible copy of their valid CNIC and/or provide complete bank account details, including valid 24-digit IBANs, to their respective Participant/Broker/CDC Investor Account Services. The necessary information can also be furnished using the E-Dividend Mandate Form available on the JS Investments website.

The process aligns with Sections 242-243 of the Companies Act, 2017, and Section 6 of the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating the smooth release of entitlements to all eligible unitholders.
