Karachi: JS Investments Limited has announced the crediting of an interim cash dividend to the unitholders of the JS Momentum Factor ETF (JSMFETF), a fund managed under its portfolio. The dividend, amounting to Rs. 2.50 per share, which represents 25% for the financial year ending June 30, 2025, was approved on January 01, 2025, by the Chief Executive Officer, as per the delegated authority from the Board of Directors.
This dividend has been electronically transferred directly to the designated bank accounts of the entitled unitholders who have provided valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs), and other necessary details. The crediting process aligns with the guidelines set out in Clause 5.6.10 of the PSX Rule Book.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has launched a Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR), an e-services web portal to streamline dividend management. This portal allows unitholders to access comprehensive records of dividends paid, unpaid, or withheld by listed companies, including those managed by JS Investments Limited. Unitholders can retrieve their cash dividend details for record purposes via csp.cdcaccess.com.pk/.
The Fund has withheld dividends from unitholders who have not submitted complete or accurate information, including valid IBANs and correct bank account details, as mandated by Sections 242-243 of the Companies Act, 2017, and Section 6 of the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017. To claim these withheld dividends, unitholders are advised to provide a legible copy of their valid CNIC and complete bank account details to their respective Participant, Broker, or CDC Investor Account Services. Alternatively, this information can be submitted using the E-Dividend Mandate Form available at https://jsil.com/all-downloads/amc-corporate-governance-document/.
The interim dividend notice will be published in "The News" (English) and "Daily Jang" (Urdu) across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad editions on Saturday, January 25, 2025, ensuring wide dissemination among the stakeholders in the market.
