Karachi: Jubilee Spinning & Weaving Mills Limited has announced its financial performance for the nine months ending March 31, 2025. The company recorded a net profit of Rs. 13.99 million, marking a significant increase from the Rs. 5.51 million reported during the same period last year.
The company's revenue for the period rose to Rs. 11.50 million from Rs. 7.20 million in the previous year. The gross (loss) for the current period stood at Rs. 4.18 million, an improvement from a gross (loss) of Rs. 0.22 million last year. Despite the gross (loss) rate of 36.4%, compared to last year's 3%, the company's net profit saw a substantial increase.
Selling, administrative, and other operating costs rose to Rs. 49.77 million from Rs. 47.92 million, reflecting a 3.84% increase from the prior year. Other income for the company increased by Rs. 8.70 million, totaling Rs. 62.48 million, which contributed to the financial outcome. Finance charges reduced slightly to Rs. 0.03 million from Rs. 0.03 million last year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's basic profit per share rose to 0.43 from 0.17. The taxation provision for the period increased to Rs. 0.69 million from Rs. 0.09 million, while a levy of Rs. 2.18 million was recorded, with no such charge in the previous period.
The management of Jubilee Spinning & Weaving Mills has expressed confidence in the continued improvement of financial results in upcoming quarters, attributing the positive outcome to an increase in revenue and other income.
