Kohinoor Mills Limited Begins Commercial Production at New Apparel Division


Karachi: Kohinoor Mills Limited has officially commenced commercial production at its newly established Apparel Division, marking a strategic expansion in the apparel industry. The announcement was made on December 23, 2025, in compliance with the Rule Book of Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited and the Securities Act, 2015.



The new manufacturing facility covers approximately 16,000 square meters and boasts an annual production capacity exceeding five million garments. The company’s production target is set at 5,000 garments per day per shift by June 30, 2026. The workforce currently exceeds 480 employees, supporting the ambitious objectives of the facility.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the facility is designed to cater to the needs of modern fashion retail businesses. It features advanced stitching, washing, and finishing lines, which will enable the production of high-quality casual and performance garments. The integration of in-house fabrics from Kohinoor’s weaving and dyeing divisions is expected to ensure consistent quality, standardization, and sustainability of products.



The management of Kohinoor Mills Limited expressed confidence that this forward integration will deepen the company’s value-added product mix, enhance customer wallet share, and contribute significantly to both revenue growth and overall profitability.



The development has been communicated to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange as part of regulatory requirements.
