KSE-30 Index Undergoes Re-Composition with New Additions and Exclusions

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has announced a re-composition of its KSE-30 Index, effective from March 17, 2025. This change follows an exercise conducted as of December 31, 2024, which adheres to the relevant index rules available on the PSX website.

As part of this re-composition, Ghandhara Industries Limited, Ghandhara Automobiles Limited, NetSol Technologies Limited, the National Bank of Pakistan, and Dewan Farooque Motors Limited will be added to the KSE-30 Index. In contrast, the outgoing companies include Bank Alfalah Limited, National Refinery Limited, Pioneer Cement Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these changes reflect the latest market trends and are aimed at ensuring that the KSE-30 Index remains a true representation of the designated market category. The updated list of the KSE-30 Index constituents is provided in Annexure-A, indicating the strategic adjustments made to align the index with current economic conditions and market dynamics.
