Islamabad: According to the latest annual report, the Lakson Tactical Fund (LTF), managed by Lakson Investments Limited, has showcased a remarkable performance for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. The fund achieved a return of 37.77%, significantly outperforming its benchmark return of 24.65%.
LTF, listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, operates with a dynamic asset allocation strategy, focusing on long-term capital appreciation by investing in a mix of equities, fixed income instruments, and emerging market securities. As of June 30, the fund's portfolio was diversified with 31% exposure in equities, 33% in cash, and 35% in Sukuk securities, totaling an asset base of PKR 578.44 million.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the fund has successfully adapted to economic uncertainties, including rising inflation and PKR devaluation. Despite these challenges, LTF has managed to secure a substantial return for its investors.
Further insights from the report reveal a proactive management approach to distribution, declaring an interim payout of PKR 31.8942 per unit, amounting to PKR 8.4492 million in total distributions for the year. This move underscores the fund's robust financial health and commitment to rewarding its investors.
The fund's asset manager rating remains strong with PACRA maintaining an 'AM2+' rating, reflecting high standards in management performance. Additionally, LTF continues to adhere strictly to international financial reporting standards, ensuring transparency and reliability in its financial disclosures.
