Karachi: Landmark Spinning Industries Limited has announced that its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be conducted virtually on October 25, 2024. The meeting will take place via video link from the company’s registered office located at the Cotton Exchange Building in Karachi. This decision follows the latest guidelines from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) aimed at avoiding public gatherings and ensuring the safety and well-being of participants during the ongoing public health concerns.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has introduced a compulsory registration process for shareholders wishing to participate in the AGM. Attendees are required to submit their details including name, CNIC number, folio/CDC account number, cell number, and email address to a designated email at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. This measure is intended to streamline the login process and facilitate identification and verification, enhancing security and participation efficiency.

On the day of the AGM, shareholders can access the meeting through smartphones or computers, with the login facility becoming available 30 minutes before the meeting starts. This virtual setup not only adheres to health precautions but also opens up the discussion for shareholders who might wish to share their comments or suggestions about the agenda through provided communication channels.
