Leather Up Limited Schedules 33rd Annual General Meeting

Karachi: Leather Up Limited has announced that its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on October 28, 2024, at Karachi. The meeting is set to address several key points of business, including the confirmation of minutes from the previous AGM, adoption of audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, and the appointment of auditors and directors. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting will also see the re-election of several board members.

At the upcoming AGM, shareholders will be asked to ratify the minutes from the last meeting held on October 28, 2023. Additionally, the audited financial statements, along with directors' and auditors' reports for the past fiscal year, will be presented for approval.

The agenda includes the reappointment of the company’s auditors, UHY Hassan Naeem Chartered Accountants, who have expressed their willingness to continue in their role. The shareholders will also decide on the remuneration for the auditors for the year ending June 30, 2025.

Furthermore, the election of directors is scheduled, with seven positions up for re-election. The directors eligible for re-election include Mr. Khalid H. Shah, Mr. Jazim Shah, Mr. Ellahi Bukhsh Qureshi, Shaikh Abdus Sami, Ms. Mahmooda Shah, and Mr. Farooq Raza, in accordance with the Companies Act, 2017.
