Listing of Government of Pakistan Ijarah Green Sukuk on Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi: The Government of Pakistan's Ijarah Green Sukuk (GIGS) has been officially listed for trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) following a successful primary market auction conducted on May 16, 2025, and its subsequent settlement on May 19, 2025. The GIGS is set to be available for secondary market trading starting May 21, 2025.

The GIGS, a 3-year variable rate green Sukuk with a maturity date of May 19, 2028, was issued as a fresh instrument. The trading of this Sukuk will take place on the Jade Trading Terminal (JTT), a BnB enabled platform, with the symbol code P03GVR190528. The issue date of the Sukuk is recorded as May 19, 2025, and it is listed with a face value of PKR 5,000.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the cut-off price for the Sukuk is set at PKR 100.0000, with a cut-off rental rate of 10.6364%. The maximum buy/sell order quantity is capped at 5.00 billion, with a maximum order value of PKR 6.00 billion. The buy/sell lot size is established at PKR 5,000, and price ticks are set at 0.0001.

The market will follow a T+1 and T+0 settlement cycle, with clearing, settlement, and risk management overseen by the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL). Custody of the Sukuk will be maintained by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC).
