Lahore: The Board of Directors of LSE SPAC-II Limited has announced its decision to propose a significant investment in M.P. Industries Limited, as outlined in their report dated August 17, 2026.
In a strategic move, the board convened a meeting both physically at the company's registered office and via Zoom, where they evaluated due diligence and pertinent information concerning M.P. Industries Limited (MPIL). The board has decided to recommend an investment of approximately PKR 180 million, which will be made through the subscription of 269,000 ordinary shares of MPIL at a price of PKR 669.14 per share. This investment will grant LSE SPAC-II Limited approximately 15% of MPIL's post-issue paid-up share capital.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the investment proposal is contingent upon shareholder approval via a special resolution, as well as subsequent corporate proceedings under the SPAC regulations. The board has scheduled the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for September 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at The Exchange Hub, LSE Plaza, Lahore, to secure the necessary shareholder endorsement for the investment and associated matters.
Additionally, the company will circulate the Notice of the AGM, along with the Statement of Material Facts and an Information Circular, in accordance with Section 12(g) of the Public Offering Regulations, 2017, to provide comprehensive details to the shareholders.
