Lucky Cement Announces Financial Results and Investment in Mining Joint Venture

Karachi: Lucky Cement Limited has disclosed its financial results for the year ending June 30, 2025, while announcing a strategic move to further invest in a mining joint venture. The announcements came following the company's board meeting held on August 8, 2025.

The board of directors has recommended a cash dividend of PKR 4 per share. There will be no bonus or right issues. The financial disclosure includes comprehensive statements and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company plans to invest up to PKR 1.20 billion in National Resources (Private) Limited, a joint venture focused on gold and copper mining. Lucky Cement holds a 33.33% equity stake in this venture, which has reported a significant mineral discovery in Chagai, Baluchistan. The investment will fund pre-feasibility studies for further exploration and resource estimation.

The 32nd Annual General Meeting is scheduled for September 26, 2025, at the company's registered office in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Share transfer books will be closed from September 19 to September 26, 2025. The annual report will be shared electronically in compliance with reporting standards.

The financial statements indicate a major increase in non-current assets and reserves, reflecting robust financial health. The total equity has shown a very large or significant move, while current liabilities have experienced a minor move. Total assets stand at 7.20 billion, highlighting a strong financial position for the company.
