Lucky Core Industries Limited Announces 75th Annual General Meeting Agenda

Karachi: Lucky Core Industries Limited has officially announced the schedule and agenda for its 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM). According to a notice published in local newspapers including Business Recorder and Roznama Dunya on September 3, 2026, the company plans to hold the AGM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at 5 West Wharf, Karachi, with provisions for video-conferencing.

The AGM's ordinary business will include the reception, consideration, and adoption of the company's annual audited financial statements for the year ending June 30, 2026. This will be accompanied by the Directors' and Auditors' Reports. Shareholders will also vote on the approval of a final cash dividend of 262.5%, which translates to PKR 5.25 per ordinary share of PKR 2 each, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. This dividend is in addition to an interim dividend of the same rate already disbursed.

Additionally, the company will appoint auditors for the fiscal year 2026-27. The board, upon the recommendation of its Audit Committee, is proposing the re-appointment of M/s. A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, for the year ending June 30, 2027.

A key item under special business is the ratification of related party transactions that amounted to PKR 66.48 billion for the year ending June 30, 2026. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions involve various related parties including, but not limited to, Lucky Cement Limited and Yunus Textile Mills Limited. This agenda item seeks to authorize the company to engage in further related party transactions through the next fiscal year.

The meeting will also see members authorizing the Board of Directors to execute related party transactions, as necessary, for the financial year concluding on June 30, 2027. These transactions will be re-presented for ratification at the subsequent AGM.
