Islamabad: Mari Energies Limited has disclosed trading activities conducted by two of its executives in the company's shares, according to a statement released by the company on February 25, 2025. The disclosure was made in compliance with the regulations of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The report details that Ghulam Murshad, an executive at Mari Energies, executed a purchase transaction on February 24, 2025. The transaction involved the acquisition of 7,000 shares at a rate of 557.50 per share. The shares were acquired in the Central Depository Company (CDC) format under the ready market category.
Further information from the company reveals that Omer Ahmad, another executive, purchased 130 shares on February 25, 2025. These shares were bought at a rate of 571.92 per share, also in the CDC format within the ready market category.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions are scheduled to be presented at the upcoming board meeting of Mari Energies Limited, as stipulated under clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations.
The company has confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. Should the holding period be less than six months, the executives are required to deposit any profits from the transactions with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as mandated by Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with notification to the PSX.
