Karachi: Mari Energies Limited has announced a new oil and gas discovery at the Mari Ghazij CF-B1 well, situated in the Mari Development & Production Lease in Sindh Province. The announcement was made on October 17, 2025, and highlights a significant step forward for the company in its exploratory operations.

The Mari Ghazij CF-B1 well was initiated on September 12, 2025, and has successfully reached a depth of 1,195 meters, targeting oil-prone zones within the Ghazij formation. The well has demonstrated an output of 305 barrels of oil per day, in addition to 3 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas. The wellhead flowing pressure has been reported at 225 Psi with a 48/64 inch choke size. Mari Energies Limited holds a 100% working interest as the operator of the Mari D&PL.
