Karachi: Mari Energies Limited has disclosed recent share transactions by its executives, as announced on April 4, 2025. According to the disclosure, some executive employees of the company have reported their trading activities in the company's shares.
The transactions involved two executives, Muhammad Rashid and Muhammad Hadi, who conducted their trades on different dates. Muhammad Rashid sold 400 shares at a rate of 688.3 per share on March 27, 2025. Meanwhile, Muhammad Hadi bought 100 shares at a rate of 678.5 per share on March 24, 2025. Both transactions were carried out in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form and were categorized under the ready market segment.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions will be reviewed in the forthcoming board meeting, as mandated by clause 5.6.4 of the PSX Regulations. This clause requires the presentation of such transactions to ensure compliance and transparency within the market.
Mari Energies Limited confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. If any transaction is found to be within six months, the company is obligated to deposit a cheque equivalent to the profit with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015. This measure is part of the company's commitment to maintaining regulatory standards and fostering trust among stakeholders.
