Faisalabad: Masood Textile Mills Limited has announced that its 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on October 28, 2024, at, Faisalabad. The agenda includes confirming the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting held on October 28, 2023, and reviewing the Chairman’s Report, the Reports of Directors and Auditors, and the company’s audited annual financial statements for the year ending June 30, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders will also be considering the reappointment of M/s Riaz Ahmad and Company, Chartered Accountants, as auditors for the financial year ending June 30, 2025. The firm, which is currently serving as the company’s auditor, has offered itself for reappointment, and the proposed remuneration for the financial year will be put to a vote during the meeting.

The AGM notice also mentioned that the annual report and financial statements have been made available on the company’s official website. Shareholders can access the documents using a QR code provided in the notice or through a direct weblink for reference before the meeting.

Other routine matters, as permitted by the Chairman, may be placed before the shareholders for consideration during the AGM.
