Faisalabad: Masood Textile Mills Limited (MTM) recently held its Corporate Briefing Session for 2025, revealing comprehensive financial results over a six-year period, alongside key sustainable initiatives. The session, held on November 25, 2025, highlighted significant figures and strategic projects aimed at fostering sustainable practices.

For the financial year 2025, MTM reported a profit of 1,016 million rupees before levy and taxation. The company's revenue for 2024 was 58,677 million rupees, while cost of sales stood at 49,151 million rupees. Gross profit was recorded at 9,526 million rupees, showcasing an increase in profitability despite various operational costs. Administrative expenses were 1,163 million rupees, and finance costs totaled 5,000 million rupees. Other income amounted to 276 million rupees.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's profit before taxation was recorded at 393 million rupees, a figure reflecting a moderate move in financial performance. Furthermore, MTM's earnings per share were noted at 1.20 rupees on a basic level.

In terms of sustainability, MTM is actively pursuing the cultivation of regenerative cotton. This initiative spans 4,267 hectares and involves partnerships with 3,000 farmers. The project aims to enhance traceability and promote eco-friendly practices, with international retailers like Hugo Boss, Marks & Spencer, and Calvin Klein supporting the use of regenerative cotton in their products.

Additionally, MTM's solar power project, with a total capacity of 6.2 MW, marks another stride towards sustainability. Of this, 5 MW has been installed and is expected to be energized in the first week of December 2025. The remaining 1.2 MW is scheduled for energization in January 2026.
