Karachi: Matco Foods Limited has announced that a meeting of its Board of Directors will be held on October 29, 2024, at Karachi. The board will consider and approve the un-audited first-quarter financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2024, along with the declaration of any entitlements.

The company has also declared a "Closed Period" from October 23, 2024, to October 29, 2024, in accordance with clause 5.6.1(d) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations. During this period, no director, chief executive officer, or executive is permitted to directly or indirectly trade in the company's shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this measure is part of the compliance requirements aimed at ensuring transparency and preventing any insider trading activities.

The announcement was made by Muhammad Noman Ansari, Company Secretary of Matco Foods Limited, in a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The notification was also sent to the Surveillance, Supervision, and Enforcement Department of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
