Karachi: MCB Bank Limited has announced the credit of its Second Interim Cash Dividend (D-94) for the financial quarter ending June 30, 2026. This development comes as part of the bank's compliance with Rule No. 5.6.9 (b) of the PSX Rule Book, with the announcement slated for publication in the Daily "Business Recorder" and the Daily "Jang" on September 1, 2026.
The bank's shareholders have been informed that the dividend, declared at a rate of 90%, equivalent to PKR 9.00 per share, has been directly credited into the designated bank accounts of shareholders who have provided the necessary documentation, including valid CNIC/NICOP/NTN/Passport and complete IBAN details. As per Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) regulations, those who have not submitted the required information will have their dividend withheld until compliance is met.
Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited has developed a Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR) to facilitate shareholders by maintaining a record of cash dividends paid, unpaid, or withheld by listed companies. Shareholders can access this information through the eServices web portal, ensuring transparency and ease of record-keeping.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), MCB Bank Limited is taking steps to streamline the process for shareholders to retrieve their dividend details and ensure timely payments. The Dividend/Zakat & Tax Deduction Report is accessible via registered email addresses and through participants or stock brokers on CDS terminals.
Shareholders facing non-receipt of dividends are encouraged to contact the bank’s Share Registrar and Transfer Agent through a written request, including their Folio/CDC Account Number. The bank assures that payment of withheld dividends will occur electronically within 15 days upon receipt of the required documentation, contingent on the activation status of the provided bank account.
