MCB Bank Limited Reports Loss of Share Certificates in Karachi


Karachi: MCB Bank Limited has announced the loss of several share certificates associated with specific folio numbers, according to a notification dated January 6, 2026. This announcement, which has been circulated among members of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, advises against dealing with the affected certificates unless objections are lodged within seven days.



The first reported case involves folio number 65910, where Mr. Sajid Ilameed of 104-D, Block No.2, PECHS, Karachi, has notified the loss of certificate number 1826305. The distinctive numbers range from 693634272 to 693634310, covering a total quantity of 39 shares.



In another instance, folio number 35538 has been affected, as reported by Mr. Mohammad Naeem Mian residing at House No. R-67, Sector-1, Surjani Town, Near Masjid Sad Bin Abi Waqas, Karachi. The loss pertains to multiple certificate numbers, including 1310332, 1363166, 1415886, 1466307, 1514970, 1563743, 1608362, and 1781929. The distinctive number ranges cover a total quantity of 107 shares.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank has instructed that if no objections are received within the stipulated period, duplicate certificates will be issued to the concerned parties. This move ensures that stakeholders are duly informed and that the integrity of share transactions is maintained.
