MCB Investment Management Limited Reports Financial Results for Pakistan Cash Management Fund

Karachi: MCB Investment Management Limited, the managing entity of the Pakistan Cash Management Fund, has released its financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The announcement was made during a board meeting held at the company's head office on August 4, 2025. The meeting, conducted at 3:00 p.m., culminated in the approval of the financial statements which encompass the Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of Profit and Loss, Statement of Other Comprehensive Income, Statement of Movement in Unit Holders' Fund, and the Statement of Cash Flows.

The fund reported its total assets at 27.04 billion, with bank balances contributing 15.90 billion and investments amounting to 11.05 billion. In addition, the profit receivable on bank deposits was recorded at 75,063, and advances, deposits, and prepayments stood at 11,029.

Liabilities for the fund totaled 70.29 million, which included amounts payable to MCB Investment Management Limited and the Digital Custodian Company Limited, along with obligations to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and dividends payable. Accrued expenses and other liabilities were also accounted for in the total liabilities.

The net assets of the fund were reported to be 26.97 billion, which corresponds to the unit holders' fund as reflected in the attached statement. The number of units in issue was recorded at 534,394,054, with a net asset value per unit of 50.4678.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the financial results reflect significant movements in certain assets and liabilities over the reporting period. The substantial increase in bank balances and investment assets, along with a notable rise in the number of units issued, were key highlights of the report.
