Media Times Limited Schedules 25th Annual General Meeting with Key Financial Disclosures

Lahore: Media Times Limited (MTL) has announced the convening of its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 28, 2025, at 11:15 a.m. The meeting will take place at the company’s registered office located at First Capital House, 96-B-1, M.M. Alam Road, Gulberg-III, Lahore. The agenda includes the confirmation of minutes from the previous Extraordinary General Meeting held on September 24, 2025, the adoption of audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, along with the Chairman’s Review, Directors’, and Auditors’ reports, and the appointment of auditors for the financial year ending June 30, 2026, with a decision on their remuneration.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Media Times Limited reported a significant move in its financial metrics. The company disclosed a share capital and reserves figure of 8,391.93 million PKR, a substantial increase from the previous year’s 6,227.014 million PKR. Non-current liabilities rose moderately to 974.39 million PKR from 808.127 million PKR, while current liabilities registered a very large move, increasing to 1,979.396 million PKR from 1,221.318 million PKR. The non-current assets also saw a very large move, reaching 8,412.993 million PKR compared to 5,495.684 million PKR in the previous year. Current assets were reported at 2,832.73 million PKR, marking a moderate move from the prior year’s 2,488.285 million PKR.

Additionally, the company’s operating performance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, showed an operating loss of 342.837 million PKR, a decrease compared to the previous year’s loss of 737.325 million PKR. The net loss for the period was 621.118 million PKR, contrasting with a net income of 600.305 million PKR in the previous fiscal year.

The AGM will also address the closing of the Members Register from October 21 to October 28, 2025. Share transfers received by Corplink (Pvt.) Limited, the Registrar and Shares Transfer Office of the Company, by the close of business on October 20, 2025, will be considered timely for the AGM. Members eligible to attend and vote may appoint proxies, with submissions required 48 hours before the meeting.
