Karachi: In a recent development, Media Times Limited has filed a certified copy of resolutions passed by its shareholders during the 23rd Annual General Meeting held on 28th October 2023. This submission is in compliance with clause 5.6.9(b) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Regulations.

The shareholders resolved to confirm the minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 23rd June 2023. The resolution stated, "RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 23rd June 2023 be and are hereby approved."

Furthermore, the shareholders reviewed, considered, and adopted the audited financial statements of the company for the year ended 30 June 2023, along with the Chairman's Review, Directors', and Auditors' reports. The resolution read, "RESOLVED THAT the audited Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended 30 June 2023 together with the Chairman's, Directors', and Auditors' reports thereon be and are hereby received and adopted."

In addition, the shareholders appointed M/s Junaidy Shoaib Asad, Chartered Accountants, as the Auditors of the Company for the year ending 30 June 2024, and authorized the Chief Executive of the Company to negotiate and fix the remuneration of the auditors. The resolution stated, "RESOLVED THAT M/s Junaidy Shoaib Asad, Chartered Accountants is hereby appointed as Auditors of the Company for the year ending 30 June 2024 and shall hold the office till the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company unless they resign themselves during the financial year 2024," and "RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the Chief Executive of the Company be and is hereby authorized to negotiate and fix the remuneration of the auditors."
