Meezan Bank Executive Increases Shareholding with Recent Transactions

Karachi: An executive of Meezan Bank Limited, Mr. Shariq Mubeen, has increased his shareholding in the company, executing a series of transactions according to recent disclosures. These transactions, executed under the Pakistan Stock Exchange's regulation 5.6.4, were conducted on December 23, 2025.

Mr. Mubeen, who currently holds an executive position at Meezan Bank, engaged in three separate buying transactions on the stated date. The acquisitions were processed through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the ready market. The first transaction involved the purchase of 185 shares at a rate of PKR 441.40 per share, bringing his cumulative shareholding to 26,685 shares. The second transaction consisted of acquiring 60 shares at PKR 441.75 per share, increasing his total holdings to 26,745 shares. In the third transaction, Mr. Mubeen bought 255 shares at a rate of PKR 441.78 per share, culminating in a cumulative shareholding of 27,000 shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions reflect Mr. Mubeen's strategic positioning within the bank, yet they resulted in no change in the percentage of his shareholding in the company. The precise percentage remained unchanged at 0% following these transactions.
