Meezan Bank Executive Sells Shares Amid Regulatory Disclosure

Karachi: An executive of Meezan Bank Limited has executed a transaction involving the sale of bank shares, according to recent regulatory disclosures. The transaction was executed by Mr. Shariq Mubeen, an executive at the bank, in compliance with Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4, which mandates disclosure of interest by relevant persons holding company shares.

The transaction, which took place on July 21, involved the sale of 1,500 shares at a rate of 356.25 Pakistani Rupees per share. This transaction leaves Mr. Mubeen with a cumulative shareholding of 27,500 shares in the company. The percentage of shares held by Mr. Mubeen remains unchanged at 0%.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the market category designated for this transaction is 'Ready', which indicates that the shares were sold in the regular trading segment of the exchange.
