Millat Tractors Limited Reports Significant Dividend Increase Amid Stable Leadership

Lahore: Millat Tractors Limited has announced a significant increase in its dividend payout for the year, according to the company's Annual Report released on October 6, 2026. The Board of Directors has recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 11 per share, equivalent to a 220% increase. This comes in addition to an interim cash dividend of Rs. 10 per share, leading to a cumulative dividend of Rs. 21 per share, marking a 420% hike over the period.

The annual report highlights several key financial metrics, including appropriations made during the fiscal year. The opening balance for the general reserve was reported at Rs. 2,278,935 thousand, with the un-appropriated profit opening at Rs. 2,039,519 thousand. The total comprehensive income for the year, ending June 30, 2026, was recorded at Rs. 7,806,335 thousand. Notably, an amount of Rs. 135,699 thousand was transferred to unappropriated profit following the sale of investment in Baluchistan Wheels Limited.

The company deducted Rs. 2,992,739 thousand as a final dividend for the year ending June 30, 2025, and Rs. 3,990,319 thousand as an interim dividend for 2026. Consequently, the un-appropriated profit carried forward stands at Rs. 2,998,495 thousand.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Millat Tractors Limited's earnings per share for the year ending June 30, 2026, was Rs. 19.65, showing a very large or significant move from the previous year's restated figure of Rs. 15.97.

The board of directors remains unchanged since the last election held on October 30, 2024. The current board, which will serve until October 30, 2027, comprises thirteen members, including twelve males and one female. The composition includes four independent directors, six other non-executive directors, and three executive directors. The board is led by Chairman Mr. Sikandar M. Khan, a non-executive director, with Mr. Raheel Asghar serving as CEO and one of the executive directors.
