LAHORE: In a significant corporate maneuver, Millat Tractors Limited has announced the completion of its share sub-division process, effective as of June 20, 2026. This development comes in accordance with a special resolution passed by the company's shareholders, enabling a reorganization of the share structure under Section 85(1)(c) of the Companies Act, 2017.
The sub-division has resulted in a reduction of the face value of each share from Rs. 10 to Rs. 5. Consequently, the total number of ordinary shares in circulation has doubled from the original 199,515,947 shares to a new total of 399,031,894 shares. Despite this change, the rights and privileges associated with the shares remain unaffected. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this maneuver is categorized under the designated market category as a standard corporate action.
Shareholders who hold physical share certificates have been instructed to submit their original certificates, along with any verified transfer deeds if applicable, to the company's registered office located at 9 K.M, Sheikhupura Road, Shahdara, Lahore. This step is necessary to facilitate the issuance of new share certificates reflecting the updated structure.
The company has requested all stakeholders to update their records to align with the revised paid-up capital structure. This restructuring marks a strategic step for Millat Tractors Limited as it continues to adapt to evolving market conditions and shareholder interests.
