Karachi: Mughal Energy Limited has announced the submission of its Shariah disclosure for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, in line with the regulatory requirements set forth by the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the Companies Act, 2017. This disclosure, dated September 11, 2026, ensures the company's adherence to PSX Notice No. PSX/N-1419, which mandates compliance with Shariah regulations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Mughal Energy Limited has reported its financial commitment to Shariah-compliant practices by detailing its financial statements. Notably, the company has obtained financing totaling 6.99 billion Rupees under Islamic modes, a significant increase from the previous year's 922.01 million Rupees. Additionally, the interest accrued on conventional loans has decreased to 5.07 million Rupees, down from 9.49 million Rupees in the previous year, marking a very large or significant move.

The company's assets reveal Shariah-compliant bank deposits amounting to approximately 105.33 million Rupees, a rise from 14.67 million Rupees last year, indicating a very large or significant move. No Shariah-compliant investments on the assets side were reported, remaining consistent with the previous year.

Mughal Energy Limited has emphasized compliance with all applicable provisions, including reporting on a "Not Applicable / Zero" basis where relevant. The company's financial disclosures also highlight a profit of 80.74 million Rupees paid on Islamic financing modes, with no income reported from conventional loans or advances.
