Lahore: Mughal Iron and Steel Industries Limited has announced its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on October 26, 2024, at Lahore. This meeting is significant as it will address key financial decisions and appointments for the upcoming fiscal year.

The AGM will focus on reviewing and adopting the company’s separate and consolidated audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these documents include the Chairman’s Review Report, the Directors’ Report, and the Auditors' Reports. The shareholders will also consider the appointment of auditors and determine their remuneration for the year ending June 30, 2025.

Furthermore, based on recommendations from the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors has proposed re-appointing M/s. Fazal Mahmood and Company and M/s. Muniff Ziauddin and Company as joint external auditors. The decision comes after securing consent from the aforementioned auditors, adhering to the Companies Act of 2017 requirements.
