Karachi: FAMCO Share Registration Services Pvt. Ltd. has issued multiple notices regarding the loss of share certificates from various companies. Among the affected is Pakistan Petroleum Limited, with shareholder Abdul Aziz Shaikh reporting the loss of certificates on July 24, 2024. Shaikh's lost certificates include 55 shares with distinctive numbers ranging from 829725433 to 829725487.
Additionally, Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited has reported a loss concerning Owais Abdul Gani, who lost 500 shares on July 22, 2024. The certificates with distinctive numbers from 483761873 to 483762372 were noted.
Engro Corporation Limited also reported the loss of share certificates for Henna Inam, with a combined total of 110 shares lost as of July 19, 2024. These shares are distributed over two certificates with distinctive numbers significantly ranging.
The Hub Power Company Limited noted the loss of share certificates for Farzana Abdul Razzak involving 500 shares across five certificates, reported lost on July 18, 2024.
Similarly, Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited and OLP Modaraba have each reported losses. Lotte Chemical's report involves 91 shares belonging to Haji Sattar, reported on the same day as OLP Modaraba's multiple reports of losses involving significant numbers of shares linked to Hail Sattar Motiwala and others.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these notices have been circulated among members of the exchange, advising them not to deal in these certificates. If no objections are raised within 7 days of their respective publications, duplicate certificates will be issued to the shareholders.
