Karachi, Murree Brewery Company Limited has informed its members about the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, where the election of directors will take place. In accordance with Section 159 (3) of the Companies Act, 2017, seven individuals have submitted notices of their intention to offer themselves for election as directors.

The Extraordinary General Meeting is scheduled to be held on July 24, 2023, in Rawalpindi. However, since the number of candidates offering themselves for election does not exceed the number of directors fixed by the Board under Section 159 (1) of the Companies Act, 2017, the seven individuals will be deemed elected as Directors of Murree Brewery Company Limited for the next three-year term starting from July 27, 2023.
