Nadeem Lodhi Appointed CEO of Burj Clean Energy Modaraba

Karachi: Burj Clean Energy Modaraba, managed by Burj Investment Management Limited, has announced the appointment of Mr. Nadeem Lodhi as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mr. Nabeel Anjum Malik. The appointment, effective from February 26, 2026, was confirmed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in a letter dated April 30, 2026.

The transition in leadership at Burj Clean Energy Modaraba was carried out in compliance with Clause 5.6.1(a)(xii) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Rule Book. Mr. Lodhi’s appointment has been approved by the Registrar Modaraba, demonstrating adherence to the Fit and Proper Criteria outlined in the Modaraba Regulations, 2021.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Mr. Lodhi’s term as CEO and Director of the Modaraba Company is set to continue until the election of directors in October 2026. This move marks a significant change in the management of Burj Clean Energy Modaraba.

Mr. Lodhi is expected to be fully aware of his duties under the Modaraba regulatory framework, including the Modaraba Companies and Modarabas (Floatation and Control Ordinance) 1980, and other relevant laws. He is also encouraged to enhance his understanding of Islamic finance through further education and certification.
