Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for August 29, 2023, in Karachi, to review the Half-Yearly Accounts of the Bank for the period ended June 30, 2023.

In compliance with Clause 5.6.4 of The Rule Book of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank has declared a "Closed Period" from August 22, 2023, to August 29, 2023 (both days inclusive). During this period, no Chairman, Director, CEO (President), or Executives of the Bank will be permitted to engage in any dealings involving shares of NBP, directly or indirectly. The closed period ensures transparency and fairness in the trading of the bank's shares ahead of the crucial board meeting.
