National Bank of Pakistan to Hold Board Meeting on October 28 to Review Financial Statements

Karachi: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on October 28, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. The meeting, which will be held both in the Board Room at the NBP Head Office on I.I. Chundrjgar Road and virtually via Zoom, aims to review the financial statements for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting will adhere to the regulations outlined in clause 5.6.4 of the PSX Rule Book. This mandates a closed period from October 21, 2026, to October 28, 2026, during which no Chairman, Director, CEO (President), or Executive of the Bank is permitted to engage in any transactions involving NBP shares.

The closed period is a standard practice designed to prevent insider trading and ensure that all market participants have equal access to financial information. The designated market category under which this information falls is crucial for maintaining transparency and integrity within the financial markets.
