National Foods Limited Announces Second Interim Cash Dividend Credit

Karachi: National Foods Limited has announced the credit of its Second Interim Cash Dividend for the third quarter ended March 31, 2025. Shareholders have been informed that the dividend, at a rate of Rs. 2.00 per share—equivalent to 40%—has been credited directly into the bank accounts of those who have provided their valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs). This transaction was completed via electronic mode on May 16, 2025.

The credit of the dividend is in compliance with Section 242 of the Companies Act 2017, as well as the subsequent notification through SRO 1145(1)/2017 dated November 6, 2017, issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). However, shareholders who have not yet provided complete bank details, including IBAN and a copy of a valid CNIC, will find their dividend withheld under the designation D-37.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders are reminded of the mandatory requirement to submit their CNIC numbers, addresses, email addresses, contact numbers, and IBANs to the Share Registrar to avoid non-compliance with the law. Those holding shares in dematerialized form should submit the dividend bank mandate form to their participant or investor account services at the Central Depository Company (CDC).

Corporate entities are also asked to provide their National Tax Number (NTN) and Folio Number, along with a copy of the authorized representative's CNIC, to ensure seamless credit of dividends and compliance with regulatory requirements. The designated market category for this information is the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
