National Foods Limited Credits Second Interim Cash Dividend Amidst Compliance Push

Karachi: National Foods Limited has announced the electronic disbursement of its Second Interim Cash Dividend, amounting to Rs. 3.00 per share, equivalent to 60% for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The dividend was credited on March 18, 2026, into the designated bank accounts of shareholders who provided valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs).

The company made this distribution in adherence to the requirements established by Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, along with the SRO 1145(1)/2017 dated November 6, 2017, which was issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). However, dividends for shareholders who have not submitted complete bank details, including IBAN and a valid CNIC, have been withheld.

National Foods Limited has reiterated the importance of compliance with Section 119 of the Companies Act, 2017, and Regulation 47 of the Companies Regulations, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company emphasizes the urgency for all physical shareholders to furnish their mandatory information, including CNIC numbers, addresses, email addresses, and contact numbers, to avoid future legal non-compliance or inconvenience.

Shareholders who have not yet submitted a copy of their valid CNIC or NTN certificate are urged to do so immediately to the Company's Share Registrar at CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, located at CDC House, 99-B, Block-B, S.M.C.H.S., Main Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi. Those with shares in dematerialized form are instructed to submit the dividend bank mandate form to their participant/investor account services at the CDC. Additionally, corporate entities are required to provide their National Tax Number (NTN) and Folio Number along with the authorized representative's CNIC copy to ensure uninterrupted transactions.
