National Refinery Shares Show Varied Performance in Pakistan Stock Exchange Trading

Karachi, In the latest trading session on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE), shares of National Refinery exhibited mixed performance, with slight fluctuations in their opening and closing prices across different futures contracts for February, March, and April 2024, as well as in the regular trading session.

The company's stock, under the code NRL, opened at PKR 234 and closed at the same price, with a low of PKR 217.22 and a high of PKR 218.3 throughout the day. A total of 735,292 shares were traded, closing at a slightly higher price of PKR 234.83.

For the April futures contract (NRL-APR), no shares were traded as both the opening and closing prices were recorded at zero, although the high for the day was noted at PKR 228.69, with the closing price significantly higher at PKR 246.5.

The February futures contract (NRL-FEB) saw more activity, opening at PKR 230.1 and closing at PKR 232.9. The stock reached a low of PKR 218.34 and a high of PKR 219.12, with a total of 674,500 shares traded, concluding at a higher closing price of PKR 236.04.

Lastly, the March futures contract (NRL-MAR) opened and closed at PKR 230.12, with the day's trading confined between a low of PKR 224 and a high of PKR 224. A comparatively smaller volume of 11,500 shares was traded, ending at a closing price of PKR 239.94.
