NBP Fund Management Limited Reports 2026 Income with Big Moves on Treasury Bills

Karachi: NBP Fund Management Limited has released its annual report for the NBP Government Securities Fund-I, detailing its financial performance for the year ending June 30, 2026. According to the report, the total income for the fund reached 1.72 billion, reflecting the company's diversified investment strategies and management practices.

The report, dated October 1, 2026, highlights significant income streams from various financial instruments. Income from Pakistan Investment Bonds contributed 244.15 million, while Market Treasury Bills generated a substantial income of 1.13 billion, marking a big move. The profit on bank balances was noted at 134,629.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the fund also reported a net gain of 170,965 from the sale of investments. However, a net unrealised diminution in the re-measurement of investments classified as financial assets at fair value through profit or loss was recorded at 41,149.

The fund's total expenses for the year amounted to 146.33 million, including the remuneration of the management company, Sindh Sales Tax, and various operational costs. The net income for the period before taxation stood at 1.57 billion, reflecting the fund's efficient management and investment strategies.

After accounting for taxation, the net income remained at 1.57 billion. The allocation of net income for the period, after considering income already paid on units redeemed, was reported at 311,441.

The report also detailed the accounting income available for distribution, delineating between capital gains and other sources. The capital gains component was 212,104, while income excluding capital gains was 99,337.
