NBP Pakistan Growth ETF Sees Major Asset Increase by June 2026

Karachi: NBP Fund Management Limited's annual report for the NBP Pakistan Growth Exchange Traded Fund, as of June 30, 2026, reveals a notable increase in assets and net income compared to the previous year. According to the report released on October 1, 2026, the fund’s net assets rose to 254.57 million rupees from 138.08 million rupees in 2025, marking a very large or significant move of 84.33%.

The statement of assets and liabilities indicates a substantial rise in investments, amounting to 251.35 million rupees in 2026, up from 136.64 million rupees the previous year. This increase contributed to the total assets reaching 306.25 million rupees, compared to 139.88 million rupees in 2025. The bank balances also saw a big move, increasing to 54.59 million rupees from 1.999 million rupees.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the fund's liabilities saw a significant rise, totaling 51.68 million rupees in 2026, in contrast to 1.80 million rupees a year earlier. This includes a substantial dividend payable of 50.26 million rupees for the year under review.

The net income for the year also experienced a very large or significant move, rising to 100.98 million rupees from 56.26 million rupees in 2025. This increase was driven by gains on the sale of investments and net unrealized appreciation on re-measurement of investments, which amounted to 18.06 million rupees and 41.84 million rupees, respectively.

The number of units issued by the fund increased to 9.36 million from 6.34 million, while the net asset value per unit rose to 27.1974 rupees from 21.7785 rupees, reflecting the fund's strong performance over the year.

The report highlights the growth in dividend income as well, which reached 15.01 million rupees, up from 9.17 million rupees, underscoring the fund's enhanced returns for investors. Total income for the year increased to 75.38 million rupees from 52.17 million rupees, while total expenses also rose to 2.43 million rupees from 1.73 million rupees.
