Lahore: Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited has announced a significant update for its shareholders regarding participation in the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 28, 2024. For the first time, shareholders will have the option to attend the meeting through a video conferencing facility, ensuring broader access and convenience.

The company has introduced a registration process for shareholders interested in utilizing the video link to participate in the AGM. Shareholders are required to send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Registration for AGM" at least 48 hours before the meeting starts. The email must include the shareholder’s name, CNIC number, folio or CDC account number, cell number, and email address. A valid copy of both sides of the CNIC should also be attached to the email for verification purposes.

Once registered and verified, shareholders will receive a password-protected video link via email. This link will be activated on the day of the AGM and will remain accessible until the meeting concludes.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this digital initiative is designed to facilitate increased participation and engagement from shareholders who may not be able to attend in person. It reflects Nimir Industrial Chemicals' commitment to leveraging technology to enhance shareholder communications and corporate governance practices.

The company has also advised that TRE certificate holders be informed about this new provision to ensure all eligible participants are aware of the option to attend virtually.
