Karachi: The Chairman of Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited, M. Saeed uz Zaman, has conducted a series of share purchases in the company, totaling 17,860 shares, in a transaction disclosed under Pakistan Stock Exchange regulations. The purchases were made over two consecutive days, on July 8 and 9, 2025, and were facilitated electronically through the Central Depository Company (CDC).
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the nature of the transactions was exclusively purchases, with share prices ranging from Rs. 154.50 to Rs. 158.00. The entire transaction was executed in the ready market category, signifying a prompt settlement process.
The transactions by Zaman represent a big move, marking a significant increase in his stake in the company. The purchases were confirmed to have a holding period exceeding six months, complying with the Securities Act, 2015. In cases where the holding period is shorter than six months, any profits would be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as per regulatory requirements.
