Karachi: Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited has disclosed that one of its executives, Arif Hussain Surti, has conducted several transactions involving the company's shares. These disclosures were made in accordance with Regulation No. 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, which mandates the disclosure of share dealings by company executives.
The transactions, executed electronically via the Central Depository Company (CDC), involved a total of 2,190 shares. Mr. Surti purchased 1,199 shares at a rate of 148.21 Pakistani Rupees per share on May 14, 2025. On the following day, May 15, 2025, he acquired an additional 500 shares at a price of 152.50 Rupees per share. Subsequently, on May 16, 2025, he bought 491 shares at 149.00 Rupees per share. All transactions were conducted in the ready market category.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. If the holding period had been less than six months, the executive would be required to deposit any profits with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as stipulated under Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The company has assured that the necessary information will be communicated to the TRE Certificate holders of the Exchange as required.
