Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited Executive Executes Significant Share Purchase

Karachi: In a recent disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited has reported a notable transaction involving the purchase of shares by one of its executives. The transaction, which was executed by Imran Afzal, an executive of the company, involved the acquisition of a total of 11,000 shares.

According to the detailed report submitted under Regulation No. 5.6.4 of the regulations of The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the transaction was conducted on April 29, 2025. Imran Afzal purchased 2,900 shares at a rate of Rs. 140.95 per share and an additional 8,100 shares at Rs. 141.00 per share. The shares were acquired electronically through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the ready market category.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), such transactions are required to comply with specific holding period regulations. The company has confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. In compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, if the holding period is less than six months, any profit would necessitate depositing equivalent cheques with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), with due intimation to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

This transaction has been duly reported to inform the TRE Certificate holders of the Exchange, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
