Karachi: In an announcement made by Nadeem Textile Mills Limited, nine individuals have been deemed to have secured positions as directors of the company. The development follows the notice under section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017, dated March 16, 2026.

According to the announcement, Zahid Mazhar, Naila Zahid, Omer Bin Zahid, Hassan Bin Zahid, Anam Omer, Mafia Hassan, Wagar Hassan Siddiqui, Noor Muhammad, and Zafar Mumtaz Burney have communicated their intention to serve as directors for a three-year term.

The decision was made in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2017, which stipulates that when the number of candidates is equal to the number of director positions available, an election is not required. As a result, the named individuals will be officially recognized as directors at the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for March 24, 2026.

This event marks a significant shift in leadership within the company as it prepares for the upcoming term. The meeting, which will take place at 4:00 p.m. on the designated date, will serve as a formal confirmation of the appointments.
