Lahore: Nishat Power Limited has announced the unopposed election of its board of directors following an Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on August 22, 2026, at Nishat Centre, Abdul Haq Road, Johar Town. Seven individuals have been elected to serve as directors for the next three years. The elected directors include Mian Hassan Mansha, Mr. Humayun Maqbool, Ms. Maleeha Humayun Bangash, Mr. Mahmood Akhtar, Mr. Ghazanfar Hussain Mirza, Mr. Shahzad Ahmad Malik, and Mr. Muhammad Aqib Zulifqar.

The announcement followed the submission of a certified copy of the resolutions passed during the meeting, in compliance with the requirements of Regulation 5.6.9 of the rule book. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the election process was conducted smoothly, with all nominees elected unopposed.

The newly elected directors will commence their tenure on August 23, 2026, with responsibilities to lead the company in achieving its strategic goals over the coming years.
