Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has disclosed information concerning the loss or misplacement of several share certificates belonging to a deceased shareholder of Khyber Tobacco Company Limited (KHTC). The detailed announcement highlights that a total of 36 shares have been reported as lost or misplaced, associated with Folio number 230 and the shareholder's name, Gulzar Ahmed.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the missing certificates encompass a range of distinct numbers starting with 482911 to 6192899 across various scrips, indicating different transactions and holdings under the deceased's name. The shares are reported in varying amounts, with the highest being 17 shares under the scrip number 2411785 and the lowest consisting of single shares across multiple numbers.

These certificates are now subject to a circular issued to the members of the PSX, urging them not to deal in these specified shares and to report any relevant information to CDC Share Registrar Services Limited. The registrar has stipulated a seven-day period for objections, after which duplicate certificates may be issued if no claims are made against these transactions.
