Karachi: PakGen Power Limited has updated its book closure dates for shareholders entitled to the 30% second interim cash dividend for the first half of 2024.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the revised book closure period is now scheduled from September 10, 2024, to September 11, 2024. This adjustment ensures that shareholders who have their share transfers and transactions registered by September 9, 2024, will be eligible for the dividend payment of Rs. 3 per share.
This dividend relates to the company’s financial performance for the half-year ended June 30, 2024. Shareholders are advised to ensure that their documentation and transactions are completed and received by the CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi by the aforementioned cut-off date to qualify for the dividend entitlement.
