Karachi: Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (PICT) has scheduled a board meeting for October 28, 2024, to review the quarterly accounts and discuss potential entitlement declarations for the period ending September 30, 2024. The meeting will take place at Karachi.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), PICT has also announced a "Closed Period" from October 21, 2024, to October 28, 2024. During this time, no director, CEO, or executive shall deal in the company’s shares, in compliance with Clause 5.64 of PSX regulations. The Chief Financial Officer, Ahmed Bharamchari, emphasized the importance of adherence to these regulations to maintain market integrity.

The notice also instructed that TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange be informed accordingly. This administrative detail underscores the organization's commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance during critical financial reviews.

Furthermore, the notification was copied to several regulatory bodies, including the Supervision Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, highlighting the procedural steps taken by PICT to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed.
